Our Vision:
Every child has the right to life, health, education and a sense of well being in order for a child to reach his or her full potential.
Unfortunately; in this current day, many children in Latin America and the Caribbean live without clean/safe lighting and electricity for energy needs in their homes, schools and clinics.
The lack of modern energy in the Latin America and Caribbeans remains one of the biggest barriers of development and continues to leads to extreme poverty.
Children’s access to constant/modern electric services is critical. Basic access to electricity provides other transformational services like lighting for schools and health clinics as well as pumps for water and sanitation.
Services like lighting, refrigeration and clean water are essential for all children.
Daz Me Luz ”Give Me Light” was formed to expand access to reliable and sustainable sources of energy that will benefit children’s organizations to: improve maternal health, improve early childhood development, reduce child mortality and provide better educational opportunities for the children in the region.
Daz Me Luz “Give Me Light” will be forging partnerships with local regional renewable energy installers and distributors who will be able to bring:
- their expertise in their native terrain and local regulations,
- routine maintenance to all projects long after initial installation,
- an understanding of local social, political and economic issues impacting projects, and
- jobs to the area and money back into the immediate community positively impacting the local economy.
All of our projects will be working with local partners to provide installation support, training and ongoing technical assistance.
This means that our “Projectos de Luz” or “Projects of Light” will continue to make a positive impact on the lives of the children in the clinics, schools, centers and communities for years to come.
We are also committed to installing and providing “USA MADE” renewable energy products, which include wind turbines, inverters, batteries and solar panels.
